Any opinions on Wireshark Certified Network Analyst cert I have some training budget from work to use - looking for something network/security focussed to do.IANAR (I Am Not a Recruiter) but found the process of getting the WCNA to be worthwhile because it pushes you into all the nooks and crannies of Wireshark. Almost every post on this site has pcap files or malware samples (or both). There is a WCNA Certification Exam that is not 'through' Wireshark but covers a lot of Wireshark use and tasks. Since the summer of 2013, this site has published over 2,200 blog entries about malicious network traffic. Ooh, old topic, but I have to add: Packet analysis seems to hardcore for me and I can identify te following reasons: 1)I know too little about wireshark itself 2)don't know enough about the protocols themselves.
